Imo 10" is far too wide. 9" would be the absolute max I would go 8.5" is good as is 8". These are my opinions only but I would not go a 10" on a 35 x12.5 size tyre

Hey guys,
I have a 2014 rubicon. Currently have 265's with AEV 2.5" lift. I have been thinking about putting 285/33's on. Would you recommend 315/35's instead? What lift is needed to fit them, given I'm planning on new flares anyway?
Cheers...

35's will fit under stock flares though will require bump stop extensions to avoid fouling on the flares. Install flat flares and no lift required to fit!

Depends on what you want but lower is better stability in my opinion. A mate of mine runs 35's with flat flares and 2.5in AEV lift and it looks just normal!

i run 35/12.5/17 BFG KM2s on +25 Pintler beadlocks and have no rubbing issues except on full stuff as the ARB bar is a little tight on the wing braces. Im running 3.5" of lift with 3" bumps due to high steer.

I had that issue with my TJM bar of similar lift. I ended up moving the bar out slightly which fixed the issue under full flex whilst wheels on lock
