Default tow bar fitting 2015 wk2

ok learned people.
Bought my low km 2015 gc limited BUT it has no tow bar!!
Got myself a Mopar tow bar off a wrecked 2015 and cut out the wiring loom to the tow bar but the tow bar wires are spliced back into the main wiring loom.
Ive read odd bits of info re having to get jeep having to flash the ecu for it to work but have also spoken to a bunch of auto sparkies who said you dont need any ecu flashing, just tap into the rear tail lights.
What im wondering is do non tow bar jeep gc’s have the same rear wiring loom in the rear as tow bar fitted ones but just not connected up ?
Anyone done the tow bar wiring install??

been doing a bit of scouring the net and there really isn't a lot of detailed wiring posts for wiring a trailer plug on a wk2 jeep.
The factory tail light wiring loom i tore out of a wrecked 2015 gc limited, all the
tail light wires just feed into a bigger loom
Im guessing installers are just using aftermarket kits and tapping into all the tail light wires.

I was under the impression there was a plug LH side possibly inside near where the pocket and the torch are fitted, I know I picked up the electric brake connection there for the trailer plug... nothing in the WSM though.. Have heard splicing doesn't seem to send the BCM into a spaz but I would have my trailer/van using led lights as I know filament globes will cause wobblies especially if there is a lot of them.....

yeah, its interesting. Ive got a quote from a local tow bar place of $2,500 to swap
my ECB bull bar over to my new jeep, sort the front lower panel out of the old jeep bumper back to standard, install an anderson plug and wire tow bar plug and wire the redarc brake controller(thats with me supplying the tow bar and redarc module )
I checked re buying a new ECB bullbar, $3,200 and a 10 week wait !!

I had quotes of $2,200 just for supply and fit a tow bar and wiring, and an anderson plug so i figured $2,500 to do the swap over bullbar and tow bar wiring, anderson plug and fit the redarc was alright .
Alot if the tow bar guys didnt want to do it because my bull bar was second hand,
only wanted to sell me new stuff - which they dont currently have.
Nothing wrong with recycling i reckon.
Looking at those links, it appear he just tapped into the tail light wiring.
No mention of boxes, modules ???
Auto sparkies have mentioned some sort of after market module to make it all work ???
