That I like, it's sort of what I was alluding to above, I think this would look good, I'd fill in the voids above the tail lights with the ends of the tailgate and weld that to the body to make it one piece and then have a straight edged drop down tail gate like a "normal" ute, it may require nothing the rear bumper to allow the tailgate to drop down and be level with the floor but I think it'd be worth the effort...

my thoughts exactly. just need to get the measurements to make sure it would fit. ill have to start saving for it.
its a shame those tail lights are too big as well 450 x 165
this will be the last update for quite a while on the ute as its going into a storage shed until at least the end of the year due to getting rid of the shed to save $$$ and moving house in a few weeks.
