Default 255/70/16 BFG KM2's on a 2in lift KK?

Hi ppl,
Sorry, I did a lot of searching but didn't really find an answer. I'm thinking about swapping tyres around on my new KK.

I have:
1) 225/70/16 KO2 AT on new Dynamic steel off road wheels (7x16 ET30, 5x114.3 'Jeep') on my X-Trail, that are brand new and if I sell the car, I wont get any of the $1100 back.

2) 255/70/16 KM2 Muddies on my R50 Pathfinder that have done about 2000kms, fitted on Series II Nissan R50 alloys (7x16 ET30 6x114.3)

3) 225/70/16 Goodride AT ($440 new) with less than 500kms, on the stock Nissan X-Trail alloys (7x16 ET40 5x114.3)

4) 10.5xR15 LT Yokohama Geolandar G012 on stock Nissan USA R50 alloy wheels that were standard with my Jap import Pathfinder.

So what I really want to know, is will the 255/70/16 KM2 Muddies fit on the KK??

Cause then the plan is:
a) Put the stock wheels and AT tyres back on the X-Trail
b) Put the 255/70/16 KM2's on the KK
c) Put the 225/70/16 KO2's on the Pathfinder (stock size is 245/70/16 so they are a bit small but this car is not being sriven a lot anymore)
d) Sell the Jeep fitment steel off road wheels to another X-Trail owner, or a Jeep owner and take the small loss. Or....
e) Keep the Dynamic steel wheels for the KK and put the KM2 muddies on those? (Store the factory alloys or keep with Highway tyres.)

Whadda ppl think.

Yes it will, in fact it’s an ideal size. Reason being is that I’m running 30.5” diameter muddies and they rub a little in the rear, those are 30.1” so should do nicely.

Below is a pic of a muddy from my KK 245/75R16 next to a factory Ford Ranger tyre 255/70R16.

Hope that helps.

Thanks. Guess I have no Macpherson struts to hit, like I do on the Nissans...
Leaning towards Muddies on Dynamic steel wheels on the KK, but it is all silver, even the bullbar, except for the rear bar carrier. There's no black trims for the black wheels to work with. So Im thinking the alloys would look better. Steels are better in the real tough stuff, but that's not my aim with this car. Also worried from the pics, the spare is an odd CSA wheel. Guess I'll find out Tues.

Flying to ADL tomorrow night, pickup KK Tues morn. Two sleeps!

On second thought it still all depends on your wheel’s offset. Those tyres are a little wider which will be a factor too but I don’t think they’ll be any worse than mine with the slightly smaller diameter.

So the inspections went well, going to be a nice trip home. Hope you love your KK.

The wheels are pretty close. The steel wheels are ET30 positive offset, and the KK Limited stock wheels are supposed to be ET40, so the steels are 10mm wider track away from the suspension, so should push the tyre just 10mm out away from the car. If yours dont hit, mine should be pretty good. The only thing that caught me on the X-Trail, was muddies have a much higher tread and much squarer shoulders, meaning the same size muddies hit where AT or highway tires in the same size dont. The calculators dont ask you R, LT, AT, or MT, so cannot always be relied upon to be accurate for every fitment. They get you close, but real world bolt on can still be a surprise!

BTW, added a bit to previous post. I tend to think of more after I press [Submit] !!
