It takes them three months to deploy a fix?!
Meanwhile, last night I had a play around with the engineering menu and did a full factory reset/rollback (not the same as the one available from the customer menu).
Now instead of never being able to choose a location anywhere other than Queensland, I can't pick anywhere other than the ACT (bonus, because that's where I live).
If this is a software problem, and it seems like it is, how come only some are affected? The only thing I can think of is that there are different versions, at least one of which is clean. My KL is 2015 manufacture, as far as I can tell the software is downloaded in Australia pre delivery which in my case happened around June.
Yeah a bit weird.. mine is a june 2015 build delivery to Australia in lat August. Still cant believe it takes 4 months + to write a software update for a known fault.. By the way I manage a team of 4 software developers and we produce updates for that sort of thing the same or next day. Wish I could reverse engineer it and get my guys to look at it!

Hi David,
Tried to call your to give an update.
Technical service have advised they are aware of the issue and are expecting a software fix/revision around March 2016.

Hmm. So it's now March 2016... My sat nav had been working fine until this week... had the Jeep serviced last Monday, and this weekend discovered the state is now set to South Australia and I'm unable to change it... Has anyone else had any updates or found a solution?
Nope still no update but as above apparently theu know about it and will have a fix in the next 2 days (given that they said March ). In the interim use the voice recognition to set the address as this allows the state to change.
I will be calling the Dealer today to see if they have heard anything, though I doubt it.
