Where can i buy a cheap a/c compressor

My A/C compressor is really noisy, it howles second the motor starts up, anyone know if you can just replace the clutch assembly or is it the whole unit itself and where in wa is the best place to find one as i rang jeep and they quoted me $1200 and i aint gonna pay that!!! There is a lot of play in the pulley so im guessing that is the problem. Oh its on a 98 zg grand cherokke

If its noisey even when A/C is off then its the big idler bearing inside the clutch.This can be replaced but requires a special puller.
