Measured up all ride heights and the front is sitting about 12mm higher than the rear. Had my 85kg neighbour sit on the nose cone and she dropped about 10-12mm. Hoping that with those measurements that the winch and BB once installed will mean she will be pretty much level front to back. Once it is all set up I will take it into the auto elec and get the headlights checked & adjusted if needed.
I now have a problem with the indicators staying on and not flashing. I am, as is the RAA thinking the relay is shot. I tried getting one form a parts shop but the listing is wrong on their computer. I says that 98XJs have a 2 or 3 pin where mine has a 5pin. The bloke said to me it is just a standard 5pin relay I proved him wrong when I trid it and they did not work at all. I checked Rockauto and they do not list one so genuine it is. Going to get one from the wreckers and see how it goes. If the problem is fixed I wil see what they are new and if the price is right add it to the shopping list.

Regards A

Took off the winch bar and installed a number plate holder. Started rewiring some equipment in the engine bay and installed the winch bar support bracket for the driver side. Now she is ready to get the front sides cut like the post models. Doing that tomorrow as I have a day off. . Anyone else need a hand tomorrow? Come on over.

Default XJ Video

I just finished my latest vid .. plenty of cool XJ stuff here. I also own the White GU which my wife (Teachermum) drives.

Janowem is a top spot. We're heading back in the June long weekend for another run.

Make sure you watch thru to the 3-CAM bit where I have 3 simultaneous shots on the XJ - my favourite is the DIFF CAM.

Finnaly finished the intercooler pipes for the white XJ.
took it for a run today around the block it is a littlke sluggish till it hit 2000rp, then it takes off and it absolutly flys, i thought mine had some go in it, but its got nothing on the white one, doenst blow much smoke. when i get the pump timed properly will see how it goes.

Something is not right, mine pulls like a ###### as low as about 1250 rpm.
Probably needs a good run as well.
