Default new shocks arrived

After 3 months of abstenance from offroading trying to save up for new 3 inch bilsteins to replace the blown shocks on my WG, I just couldn't afford the bilsteins and had to settle for Doetschtec's. The shocks I had on were the same as these new ones and I was very happy with them given that they were second hand (thanks pmac seems like a long time ago now) but they finally gave in.
Anyway very excited to receive the new items and now just have to shuffle some time this weekend to spin the spanners and get them on. So with a bit of luck I can get back out on the trails next weekend.

Footnote... sorry if the pic comes out up-side-down, I just don't know why I'm having that trouble, must be a symptom of my ODS (Offroad deficiency Syndrome!)

I almost drowned it on the Border track! Oh and I recovered a fully lifted and modded D40 Navara after he recovered me.

I fitted my new Doetschtech 3" shocks today, went smooth as silk without a hitch. As soon as my picture uploading problems are resolved I'll get some pics up.

Hi mate, are they the Lightforce XGT 240 on top of your nudge bar? Would they fit into the standard spaces or are they just too large. I was looking at getting a pair of the XGT's this week to mount on my factory nudge bar in place of my Lightforce 170's I already have.
Cheers
Tim

Yeah they're XGT HID 240's, over $1500 for the pair. No they don't fit sorry it's a bit of a pain. You could use the brackets I have fitted on the top of the bar possibly but in the middle to mount them lower. I only got the jeep last week so still working it all out.

Good to hear they went on well. As they were the same brand as you had, do you notice much difference with the ride/handling?
