I like the comment re mechanics not wanting to touch Jeeps as incompetents. TOO RIGHT!

Jeep/Mopar veriants of anything have always scared many - even the old Valiants (1962 era) - illicited stoopid comments like their a bit different - at the same time the Holdens had a 2 speed auto "Hydromatic" - compare that with the bomb proof Torqueflite 6 WOW..

Leave the gears out they gotta get simpler

In drag racing applications in many cases I'd put that 2 speed box in front of the power sapping truck 727.... The powerglide is better in so many ways.

The tourquflite wasn't bombproof, I know, I destroyed one at the 2010 Jambo and on pulling it down it had a couple of other issues that were about to cause carnage not too far down the track.

This thread is pointless.
It should be renamed ' why are some Jeepers paranoid with an inferiority complex?'

interior dimensions mate
except for height, when you add 2 poorly designed extra seats in the back (to make 7 seats), even folded they take up heaps of room! on the outside, you are right, like a reverse tardis effect. problems of not being a monocoque i guess?

Haha, I remember you!! Got rid of your Jeep way way back because the chassis cracked at the tow bar or something like that.

Still bitter huh?
