I carry an uncoded key on a neck chain for when I'm on the beach.

I lock the OEM keys in the Jeep, keep the spare around my neck while I'm fishing or swimming so I can unlock it and use the OEM keys to drive off.

Didnt work on my 2007 built CRD UK JK either
It is not supported on these export diesel models

Wonder if it works on the petrol versions ???

Hmmm, it might actually work on mine. When the manual says hit the drivers side lock switch for en/disabling auto door locks, I have to use the passenger side lock.

Got two prices today: Mister Mint in the Plaza $160 key guy near by $140, both not coded.
