Looking at those nice shiny trucks made me feel like I should wash mine, instead just spent the morning fitting a brake controller, my Jeep had one which the original owner had fitted, the bracket and harness still there, so now 5 yrs later I go to fit one, easy as I thought but I checked the wiring and seemed good except for the brake wire, he'd ran his own I just couldn't find it at the back, ripped panels out, carpet up found the blue wire from tow harness not connected to vehicle harness ????? so hooked it up, found the blue wire under dash near fuse box (never used) and set it up and all is good. Bonus was I found a nice screw driver under the carpet !!!!! Next up is new shocks OME, pick up next week. Now just got to clean the mess I have made.

Good choice! Form-ply is the bee's knees for fitouts... shame I didn't learn until after I built my stuff with marine ply

Looking good Paul,

Where did you get the nudge bar and did you have to paint it or did it come in black?

What LED bar did you end up with?

Thanks Hounds
Nudge bar is a Mopar unit powder coated gloss black ,Went with Mopar so i could do 2 recovery points .
Light bar is a 120W 12 x 10W cree 20inch Ebay special . Has both spot & spread beams
Throws a nice light . Wide & bright , Distance is good but not like HID spotties.

Thanks Paul, this is a light set I am considering but I don't want more bloody chrome.

And to stay on theme I booked the GC in for a Murch lift today.

No more scraping my balls off road.

Hi Paul, just wondering how you did the drivers side recovery point on the nudge bar mount? I was considering the same, but need to drill a third hole? Or did you just use two of the bolts?

Cheers,
Matt.
