I have a sister nearby to you. I reckon it floods just around the corner from her aswell. I can not think what the suburb is called though but it is close to the sea.

Regards A

Redland Bay that is where she is with her fam. Drive about 800m down hill and there is a massive low area which frequently floods. Is that near you guys?

Regards A

Just got my cheap winch bolted in.
#### of a job, holding it up in place & trying to get bolts in.
Got there in the end.
Just need to mount the number plate next to it now & work out a good place to mount the solenoid & wireless unit.
Will probably put the change over switch inside.
Havent worked out a good place for the socket for the wire control.

Did you get that bar AG ?
When I am not feeling so slack, I should take a couple of pics.

Nah the Gumtree listing has ended I had hoped the item had timed out but it seems like it must have sold as he has not relisted it. Bummer cause it was a good price, wrecker wants $500-$600 for the same thing.

She's about 40mins away...right over towards the bayside,We are down south,Logan area.

I'm high and dry, last year I took the kids to the lacal Maccas while Bris city was flooding....it was surreal. It was like nothing was wrong around these parts.Learnt my lesson in '74,watching the areas go under.I asked my old man if we would be ok.He said sure,I build this house in a high area on purpose.Brisbane has been known to flood over the years.
