Yeah, I know - I tend to use it for a lot of stuff. Should make it stronger overall though.

Removed my 3/4" square tube hood spacers and put in some mudguard washers instead. Much better now, not so in your face.

Just melt them enough to make them look not faded anymore.

You could use a heat gun to soften the glue and remove the trims too.

Fitted a new H4 HID harness and globes with hi/low rather than just low. Was too long to wait for the Lightforce 55W HID spotties to fire up for high beam (about 30 secs to full power). Now hi beam is instant and then backed up by the spotties.

Also moved the foam that covers the outer grille sections aside to let more air flow to the radiator.

I took the Xj out to Logan Pine Forest yesterday with a mate of mine in his modded GQ. I dropped my tires to 14 psi (being a light vehicle they bagged out great) and gave it hell. I didn't spin a tyre of the rim.

Broke nothing and bent nothing. Love mud and slop and wet rock.

We didn't get stuck anywhere and went like hell through there.

Maxxis 751 radials, Road tyres she has when I got her. HUH? The 751's cut the wet terrain well and gripped.

The right boot got a work out though. Oh that old motor sang and screamed. We bounced and bucked and went every which way but loose.

But we got there and showed the lifted patrol up quite a lot with a standard suspension Xj. Flex my man. NA NA NA, NA NA NA.

The old girl was welcome to get home and have a sleep in the garage.

It had never been off road until I got her.

She treats me well as I do her.

Have a good sleep honey until next time. Your a real faithful girl.

I look after you and you look after me.

Why can't I find a woman as best as my Xj.

Top fun yesterday.

Have you tried your 751s on soft sand Rastus? I aired down to 10psi but still had to keep plenty of momentum to climb Perin Dunes when I was in Tassie. I am not overly rapped in them. Although it does sound like they are ok in bush terain.

Regards A
