You would think so. But I suspect they don't bag out all the well. I had to keep way too much momentum up to climb the soft dunes, it was so much that a few times I bottomed out in the valleys, hence why I squashed a trans line. I suspect that the side walls are quite stiff, although I can not confirm this. I have read on AJOR other people experiencing similar probs on sand with 751s.

So I need some advise please on how to fit this spacer kit and what's the best way to remove the studs? Hopefully with some carefull driving, my diffs and tailshafts will be ok until I can have it fitted Saturday.

Any tips would be great.

After undoing the nuts make sure you drop the cross member before removing the studs There is a coller half way up and you will stuff the thread in the chassis as I did on one stud.

I picked up a new (old) tailgate (thanks JJ) to replace mine that had a run-in with a tree.

what's the trick with the torx bolts holding the tailgate on?

I didn't have quite the ideal tool, and completely rounded out one of them trying to get the damn tight thing to budge.

Now how the hell do it get the f$%^%&g thing out?

And does anyone have a spare one?? (or three) Where do i get some new ones?

The trick would have been to use a Torx bit....

I have some spare ones here still....

Thanks Steve and Anthony, that's the kind of info I need. Steve, was planning on spraying the bolts tomorrow or Wednesday.

A 50/50 mix of acetone (nail polish remover) & auto trans fluid is the best release you can get.
ASME did tests on all available products years ago & the mix left all commercially available products for dead.

I still had a few slippery off camber moments on these tyres. Not really the tyre I am wanting to go play harder on. Until now they do ok. I know the limits of these tyres and I must say they are very limited.
