Default KK Cargo Anchor points

Any advise on adding Cargo anchor points or rails in the back of a KK. There does not seem to be very much there to tie off loads on

The plastic ones on the floor are total rubbish, all of mine are snapped from strapping down gear. The two metal ones off the back pillars are still good.

My suggestion for the floor is to fit alloy tie down rails. They're strong, adjustable and easy to install.

In a word... Yes. You'll need to pop off the top and bottom plastic trims at the tailgate and loosen (almost remove) the massive rear side plastic mouldings. May need to pop out the plastic hinge thingy that goes just behind the back seats.

It's easy from there, just undo a few bolts where the base meets the tailgate and slide rearwards. There are 2 large hooks that secure this base to the steel floor pan.

Then you can finally mount these rails. I uploaded pics of the base removed in the KK section a few years ago if you need more reference. Let me know if you need them reposted.

It's on my to do list to secure the fridge but held off doing it with big ideas of just ripping it all out and building from scratch. I'd like to see the result when you're done.

Kknut, I cant seem to find the thread images of the removed rear cargo deck panel, do you have a link?

I finally got some Cargo Anchor Track and want to fit them, but would like to see the underside of the rear cargo deck before pulling things apart.

Believe it or not Aldi of all people have some good 4x4 kit including anchor tracks and recovery tracks on sale this week

I've got it all pulled out at present as I'm replacing the floor with 15mm ply. Whereabouts on the floor are you planning to fit the tracks - outside of the plastic tie downs? Thanks for the heads up on the Aldi tracks.
