I can't see how it will bind... The Y arms are now fixed in position and the angle in that point won't change during articulation. The only change of angles is at the chassis end.

Yup, with the uppers fixed to the lowers it's triangulated and it's impossible for it to bind at the axle as there will be no rotational movement in the diff as the suspension moves.
Dunno guys, I tend to disagree, if thats close, triangled or not, through its cycling that gap will change. I am making comparasions to the claytons kit I ran, which was the same design but without the kink in the lower.
