ok done the tape test it came out at 9.4" at the rear and 7.7" at the front, but thats good cause i got a 125L tank coming so i guess that will settle it for me heaps happy (if it don't settle it i got some 1" coil spacers)

Is that from the top of the tyre? Whats the measurment from the centre of the wheel or hub to the bottom of the guard? Depending on tyre size I guessing you'd get something like 23.9 and 22.2.

JB,
It's a bit hard to tell from that pic.
I agree that the nature of link suspension is that the arms travel through different planes (due to different lengths etc) and the poinst are fixed at either end. So whilst the twisting action is addressed by the misalignment joint, then is an amount of binding in the arms as the system cycles....this applies to ANY linked suspension.
A bit hard to explain (ie I;m crap at explaining stuff something) - but hopefully that makes some sense.....
However the reality with this configurtion of thea rms is that the binding is relatively minor.

As I said initially the pic is not really clear enough to distinguish - but the arm should sit squarely in the bracket - otherwise it is most likely an incorrect placement of the arm (eg incorrect upper arm length)....etc....
if the bracketary was bent that could also be a problem as the bracket would not be located where the arm would "expect" it to be.......but that's all speculative - really need a better pic to get a better idea......
Also you can see from the other kits how the arms should sit - nice & square....

thats messures from the center of the tyre too the bottom of the guard minus 17.5" front and 17" rear

so it really comes out at
*670mm center of tyre to bottom of rear flare (26.4")
*640mm center of tyre to bottom of front flare (25.2")

and tyre size would not come into it, thats the purpose of this messurement

Were you expecting it to be that high? I thought from what you said here it was going to be a 6.5" lift.
