Hey fullas,
Have a stock jk. How do I add a recovery point to the front without changing the stock bumper?

You can buy two of the US spec Jeep JK front recovery points, and simply cut holes in the top of the bumper for them to poke through. The bolt to the chassis ends.
At the rear, Blackjack Welding used to make bolt on recovery points that also poked through the plastic rear bumper....not sure if he's still doing jeep stuff, though.
I'd check the catalogues on line for the big US parts places or call SBR in Perth or Trax in Melbourne etc....they may be able to help.

Thanx mate. I have a removable tow bar at the rear. I will probably get a shackle system to fit in there. Can you recommend somewhere to get the front hooks?

I was able to get them from a local Jeep dealer for about $140 three years ago. Worth a try. I posted a couple of pics in the “What did you do to your Jeep today” thread at the time: http://www.ausjeepoffroad.com/forum/...83#post1567883
