That is a neat job Briteway. You chose a better tool for trimming the plastic than the Dremel disk I used but I did not need to remove as much material. I only had to take the lip off the rear edge inside the Scosche adapter where it can't be seen from the front.
With my first Chinese 2DIN unit I lived with orange button lights for about 5 years and survived. I am sure your red will do no harm. For the Android unit I requested Cyan but I got green because that was the way the English-Chinese translator interpreted it. I should have requested blue-green.
A tip you may find useful: The Android unit can handle more than a 32G card as long as you format it FAT32. Windows will not do that but with help from Google I downloaded an application to format large drives as FAT32. Here is one

The Android unit has no trouble handling my 64G card formatted this way. It may be possible to use a larger card but I did not try, because 64G was enough for my entire music collection.
