I am currently running it with my old AXXESS CHTO-01 CanBus interface and, ASWI-CAN/ASWI-X Steering Wheel Control interfaces.
It was not easy to find a supplier for a Jeep CanBus adapter but I eventually found a very helpful agent.
If I can resolve some issues with the Chinese CanBus interface it may be an excellent sub-$500 answer to the question of WH navigation and entertainment.
It runs Sygic GPS software currently. I am getting iGO Primo sorted for the uncommon 1024 x 600 resolution.
Hey Redbaron, how did you get the Jeep logo on there instead of the VW one? And how do you change the colour of the buttons?

BTW, now it available in 5.1.1 Lollypop: http://www.aliexpress.com/item/HD-10...607288150.html

UPDATE: I got the logo sorted after contracting the seller and he will send a lollipop update but the illumination colour I had to specify when ordering. I forgot [emoji20] Oh well. Wife and kids like it red. Matches the speedo needle [emoji12]

Default Android logo selection & Klyde button light colour

Sorry Briteway for the late reply. Logo selection is in Factory Settings. The password is 126. With Klyde units the button light colour is set by the factory and must be requested when ordering. I am very happy with the latest versions of the firmware from XDA Developers. It involves downloading and installing two files. If you go this way it is imperative to carefully read the information on the XDA site to identify and download the correct versions for your unit so you don't turn it into a doorstop - see the "HOW TO UPGRADE YOUR SYSTEM" link on the following page http://forum.xda-developers.com/show....php?t=2660662

I love the system, it's so good. Thanks 👍 I only had to trim the top and the bottom of the surround.

But it came out pretty good as you can see in my last post's pic. Unnoticeable.

I used the die grinder with the square die to trim, and the smallest round point die to do the edges after I trimmed it all nicely.

Default Bezel trimming & 64G card for Android unit

That is a neat job Briteway. You chose a better tool for trimming the plastic than the Dremel disk I used but I did not need to remove as much material. I only had to take the lip off the rear edge inside the Scosche adapter where it can't be seen from the front.
With my first Chinese 2DIN unit I lived with orange button lights for about 5 years and survived. I am sure your red will do no harm. For the Android unit I requested Cyan but I got green because that was the way the English-Chinese translator interpreted it. I should have requested blue-green.
A tip you may find useful: The Android unit can handle more than a 32G card as long as you format it FAT32. Windows will not do that but with help from Google I downloaded an application to format large drives as FAT32. Here is one http://www.verbatim.com/index/search...rds=fat32+tool
The Android unit has no trouble handling my 64G card formatted this way. It may be possible to use a larger card but I did not try, because 64G was enough for my entire music collection.
