Detailed the Jeep after a dirty weekend up on the farm. Took the Jeep off road for the first time since the having the Murchison lift kit put in and am very happy with the ride and handling both on and off road.

Interested in your light bar - do you have a close up photo. How have you mounted it?

I'll second that! How did you mount it???

I have just finished doing the wiring for the auxiliary battery I put in the back on trips on the new Limited and wired in the switch for the compressor.

Stuffed if I can figure out how to wire an Anderson plug for the trailer, though... Maybe I will leave that one to the professionals!

Cheers

After looking at all the mounting options available taking into account not fouling the front sensors I purchased the mount off eBay. It was stainless which I had powder coated black to match my tow hooks. The top holes utilise the original holes used to mount the number plate and the bottom screws while not necessary stabilise it. I also used some grommets on the back to ensure it was level.

I originally purchased a 20 inch light bar but opted for the higher quality Korrs light bar and used one of their harnesses as well. It was a nice and easy install.

If you would like more pics let me know.

Thanks for that. Do you still have the link to the eBay light mount? Was it generic or especially for the GC?

And it is solid enough for the job? My number plate moves a fair bit...

Cheers
