Default 2016 jku rubicon bonnet?

Hey i was wondering if someone could clarify if the newer jk rubicons come with the fancy vented bonnet? The sales person at jeep said my 2016 rubicon would come with the vented bonnet but he didn't really seem to know for sure, have any of you guys got a newish rubicon with the "special" bonnet from the factory... cheers

I just picked up my JKU rubicon earlier this month and it came with the stock bonnet but you may be lucky.

There is no change in bonnet unless it is special edition.
The special edition bonnet for MY16 is essentially the mopar branded version of aev bonnet but that's only for US. No idea if the special edition will be available for Aus.
If you really want vented bonnet, get it afterwards.

Must be confused with the hard rock I think. Get an AEV heat reduction hood which really is vented

The 10th anniversary Rubi's came with a vented hood, but unless yours is another limited edition coming out this year, it would most likely be a stock hood.. But the sales guy should have known this.

The mopar 'aka aev' from the factory isn't vented, just has the bulges but no holes
