This is from my 2013 10th anniversary Rubicon here in Sweden

It is just one small hole??? for rain water, this is the underside, but I have seen folks cut out the plastic to increase ventilation. Some say that the can se the heat coming from the vents through the vents? I have not noticed that.

The hood looks great, but sometimes I like the standard hood instead because it looks more retro and like a Jeep hood should be, the standard hood looks more military, and my vented? hood look more sporty and Iam not sure that fits a jeep. I had a standard hood on my 2012 Sahara. Anyway, we dont have so big problem with overheating in Sweden

But it looks nice

Have you got your VIN yet? If so you can look up the build sheet on jeep.com and see all the factory fitted options. Power dome hood was listed on mine ( Rubicon X)

Omar - that's the 10A bonnet aka power dome that you have. That's different from the 75th version for MY16 special edition which is the Mopar version of AEV heat reduction bonnet and it is vented instead of just for look.

For your hood, a lot of ppl do a mod on it by cutting a bigger hole for vents. The power dome is not useful for rock climbing. I find it much better for touring and as bug deflector.

Do You have any link that shows that the bonnet are different between 10A and 75th. Already on the 10th anniversary jeep claimed that the bonnet is ventilated in my jeep catalogue and states so here "The hood incorporates dual ventilation intakes to aid engine cooling" from http://www.trucktrend.com/truck-revi...n-first-drive/

Maybe You get this in Australia on your 75th? http://www.4wheelparts.com/Body-Part...pn=JEPP5155351

Anyway the amerikan 75th Wrangler looks like it have the 10th rubicon power dome, same like mine, I am confused. Look below

http://www.jeep.com/en/limited-editi...egory=standard

Why is the power dome not useful for rockclimbing? normally Rubicon uses the standard hood.

Confusing when the have the same name or similar on the bonnets

Here Jeep say on the Hardrock 2016 "POWER DOME HOOD
The custom hood design features functional air vents for extra cooling and improved performance." from http://www.jeep.com/en/limited-editi...egory=standard

No Jeep in US comes with the special vented bonnet like this http://www.4wheelparts.com/Body-Part...pn=JEPP5155351 from the factory

Maybe you get them in Australia on your jeeps?
