Only went with the ected locker because I could not get an Eaton e locker for the 8.8. They are on back order and will be a 3 month wait. Yeah there are plenty of bad reviews on the ected but some good too. If it craps its self and does not work then I will look into something else later.

What size tyres do you plan to run on this?

Im undecided on tyre size at the moment. Im waiting to put the lift in and get the flares on. See how much room there is. After having 35's on my old tj its hard to think of only having 33's. Im putting 4.56 gears in, so will be fine either way.

Ok, an Xj with 31's on stock rims will rub the inside of the rear tyres on the wheel well, now with your rims having a 3.75" BS with the narrower diff your effective BS is 4.5" which is 0.75" more when compared to stock when flexing.
Now if you run 33x12.5's your tyres will rub more then stock rims with 31's and if you go 35's it will hardly flex at all relatively speaking....

The narrower rear diff will cause you issues....

Thats all stuff that can be fixed later. But from the research I have done other people running the same setup have no problems.
I know I will have some fine tuning to do after its all in.

Wheel spacers will fix it if you want to go down that path...
