WH diesel pcv valve gunked up

Thought I would check the pcv on my 2010;WH diesel with the Merc OM642
motor.201000 klms still running like new ,except noticed more oil being collected in the Provent 200.Took pcv off and it was full of gunk with the diaphram rs.
Ordered a new one ex Rock Auto about $80.00, landed hopefully arrive late next week.Never really thought about this motors pcv until reading about the failures on a Merc site.The new rebuilt Bosch injectors ex Germany have made a large difference to fuel consumption.Back to 8.7lph ks on the highway with wife ,gear in the back .Will be interesting when I hook up the van again.

We just replaced ours, and the metal bit that it sticks into that also has a seal. Bit early to tell, but the catch can was also catching an excessive amount of oil.
