Default Fully Modded Commander!!

Just posting this on behalf of another Adelaide Jeep Club Member!!














Mods are:
1. Custom mounted ARB 4.5T rated front tow hooks x 2 with reinforced steel bumper bracing for mounting them
2. Custom Front heavy duty 4mm steel bash plate between front bumper/tow hook mounts and the original front bash plate -protects complete radiator housing & all associated plumbing
3. Dual battery system; main isolator, rear battery tray (checker plate, drilled) Optima yellowtop, heavy duty wiring, 100amp fuses; dual 12v rear sockets & 5m extension lead (for camping); dashboard volt meter with switching for main & deep cycle battery condition readout Anderson plug for trailer
4. 3rd row seats removed- custom floor, ARB tie down rings x 8; elevated fridge platform & rails
5. Custom built auxiliary diesel fuel tank in spare wheel well- ~140L; heavy duty 3mm bright form steel base; 2mm sides; diff magnets inside tank; external transfer pump & switching; Y junction in standard fuel nozzle to fill either main or auxiliary tanks from standard filler; dashboard fuel gauge (mounted in tandem with volt meter above) for auxiliary tank
6 Custom Bilstein nitrocharger rear shockers ,rear polyair bags (front shockers same but en route from Germany)
7 Terraflex 50mm spacer lift kit
8 Cooper ST 10 ply LT 245 / 70/ 17 tyres x 6
9. 2 full size spare 17 inch alloy wheels
10. Original Jeep Commander Roof Cross rails
11. Custom fitted Rola large alloy roof tray, heavy duty eye bolts & shovel rubber mounts
12. ARB seat covers x 5
13 Heavy duty rubber floor mats
14 Treg off road trailer hitch
15 Rear receiver hitch & shackle (rated recovery point)
16 TJM fitted water blind
17 TJM air compressor & recovery kit (snatch strap,shackles, tree trunk protector, puncture repair kit, tow strap

Thanks - now I know what mine's gonna look like in a few weeks!!

Was a bit worried about the appearance of the wheel wells with 30s rather than 31s on board but it looks just like a Jeep should now.

That's my plan too - Fraser Is at Christmas (sand) and Simpson Sept next year (even more sand )
