So I ordered the clutch master cylinders from Rockauto on Friday morning and they arrived at my door from USA on Wednesday morning...just 5 days later.

It takes me sometime 3 weeks to get delivery of parts from local supplier only 5 suburbs away. Go figure.

Yep Rock Auto is very good

Was after a replacement hand brake after the cable snapped just days before the yearly MOT was due.
Local dealers quoted 10 days minimum for delivery from Italy to England, owing to Bank holidays.
Got it in 3 days from Rock Auto way cheaper even after paying premium for express delivery. (£ was better value to US $ at the time) not quite the bargain currently.

Your #52060133AD is for the clutch SLAVE cylinder which is different than the clutch MASTER cylinder (part # 52060132 AD (or AE or AC)). The difference is in the last digit.

I have already changed the SLAVE cylinder 3 times... they dont seem to last long.
I replaced mine recently... the piston shaft snapped into 3 parts. It was only installed 30,000km ago. Original lasted 155,000km, though. It was replaced with the clutch, ToB, pilot bearing, & pressure plate.

The only 'self adjusting' is that the piston on the slave is sprung & will keep slight pressure on the lever arm.

Nice.
As I've got 107,000 miles on mine (172,000 km's) been pondering about starting to gather the relevant parts.

You will see from my earlier posts on this thread where I purchased mine (Rockauto). I would not go the cheapest as I doubt that they are up to lasting a long time. If you are mechanic savvy you could probably easily change the part out yourself and save $100 (Aus)... much easier on RHD vehicle than on LHD ones.

I have found clutch slave cylinders have been worse for going early. I did not know that a car had a clutch MASTER cylinder but now I do. The things you learn....My JKU petrol 3.8L has done about 250000km on the OEM unit before needing it changed.

If you haven't changed the slave cylinder I would do it at the same time.

Unless it's cable or electricly operated all vehicles have a brake & clutch master cylinder. It's the one you press on that applies the hydraulic pressure to the slave cylinders.
