Look good, but I'd be worried that with no give they'd just push the body work in, think Lexx had the same problem when he fabbed up some BBQ plate fenders?

I dont think they`ll have the strength to push the bodywork in, perhaps they`ll act like a crumple zone, being made from light duty material

Thanks for all the complements guys.

Hopefully they will be strong enough to take a bit of a bang and scrape around rocks and trees. Dont know how they'd go if i put the jeep on its side but.

Time will tell lol.

There is 2 teck screws into the body, yeh my sliders are chassis mounted.
I used mid wall pipe wich is 3.2mm thick and 1.5mm plate for the tops of the guards, Not really light stuff in my opinion, i thought that would be plenty strong enough.

You would be better served by coming in from the tyre outside measure by the width of a rubber fender flare purchased from your local 4X4 shop.
Any intrusion inside the flare line will then do two things. One would be to bend your rubber flare before getting to rigid metalwork and the second is that you would be resting on the tyre sidewall rather than rigid metalwork.
There would be no secondary bodywork damage involved at all.

3.2mm tube is strong enough to use a high-lift on.....the profile and execution of the mods look great however.

cheers
