Mesh under soft top JK
Been driving around the last coupke of weeks (as my company car was off the road..) and am finding the heat radiating off the soft top quite annoying. But then driving around witht he top open I get burnt! (using the fold back Sunrider top)
Anyone already put a mesh insert between the windscreen and the sound bar that still allows the soft top to be opend/closed without to much difficulty?
I was looking at making something up a with a bar to secure on top of the sound bar at the back (using the hard top panel big bolts) and a rod across the front just short of the windscreen with some short elastic strps to hook onto the soft top lock down points. This way when the Sunrider top is closed it could be unhooked from the windscreen and bunched back up above the sound bar and would be hardly noticeable.
Anyone attempted similar or seen a commercial version already?

Nice - thats what I am looking for! At $59 for the JKini seems hardly worth the effort to make one myself
