I've fitted my front and rear bar, the shell is just sitting in positon but not secure... it needs to be trimmed a little 1st and I need to firgure out a new way to secure it.
I also need to trim the front bar, I don't want the bits that go out either side.

I fabbed up a winch mount to go on the front bar. This bullbar isn't a winch mount bar so I needed something to mount the winch to, this has worked a treat.
The photo on my earlier post has the winch mounted to the Jeep shell which I had to cut to make it fit. I now need to sort out a new mounting point for the shell.

Slight mod to the rear chassis and I've now mounted the spare. I did work out a mounting solution but not sure if I like it. I have another idea but it will have to wait a little while.

This is a cool thread.....just wondering how you guys go when you:
1. Have a wife that is probably already over your full scale Jeep
2. How you decide which to buy parts for when both need them
3. Cope with 2 stupidly expensive addictions

I have a great wife and the jk is her's.
The 1:1 always comes first as it's the DD.
Lets see I have the jeep, off road caravan, motor bike, quad bike, rc jeeps and a 1984 chevy suburban thats getting a tidy up, so I would be happy if it was just 2 stupidly expensive addictions.

Your living the dream
My 1:1 Jeep had to go but it's only a matter of time till I get another one. I'll give it 3 years and fingers crossed they will have a 4dr ute that I can get.

Looks good CD, great to see your still around. I was thinking of suggesting to the 2012 Jeep Jamboree committee that they setup a course for the RC guys at the campground. Would you be interested in that?

For sure Glen, that would be great....but I'd need a seat in a 1/1 jeep to also enjoy the event. hint hint.
