Default DIY TJ Half Doors

Has anyone made their own half doors? Im considering giving it a shot and was just looking for pointers, on material to use, techniques and anything else that might be of use

id be interested in this too.. for a jk though.. where would you source the door lock section from ???

Ive had a look on US Forums and a few guys over there have done it and just used a gate latch that works perfectly

for a TJ if you watch on Flee bay and the wreckers you can get them pretty cheap I paid $75 for a pair about a year ago hardly covers the material costs to make them

I made a set of tube doors from a couple of free trampolines i found on gumtree, if you go that route use a mig welder, its a right pain in the arse using a stick to weld shit that thin... painted them black and they were fine.. made my own door latch and it had no rattles either
