So you put diesel in a petrol? No biggie, drain as much as you can and fill with fresh petrol. It will smoke for a while and clean the carbon buildup out of the engine but that's about it.

As SeaComms said, if it's diesel in a petrol vehicle then it's not such a great problem. Dropping the tank out of a TJ isn't real hard, you can do it easily in your driveway.

Drain it as much as possible, re-fill with premium or normal unleaded but stay away from E10 until the newly filled tank is empty.

Don't forget that a lot of comprehensive insurance policies cover wrong fuel or dirty fuel.

I was stopped at a red light this morning and a ute stops next to me and look over at it and guess what?
"Wrong Fuel Rescue" was the name of the business!
I have no connection with this mob what so ever.
Just letting people know that there are dedicated businesses to save your daydreaming arse......
