I have one on my JK Rubicon and on my Grand Cherokee diesel that I sold recently.
Highly recommended them. Great value for money.
There are so many settings to suit your driving style.
I fitted mine in about one minute and I'm certainly no mechanic.
I say go for it!
Keep in mind that you have to get one that suits your model / year.
Cheers, Craig

I would have thought an ECU tune would allow changing that awful throttle response?

Cost and time/effort required is sometimes prohibitive for a full ECU remap/tune compared to DIY fix, that take minutes. Just my thoughts 😊

You are right, I did have the tune on the Grand I eold. I got the idrive for something else to play around with.
It did make a difference but not necessarily needed if you have the ECU tune.
The idrive is a very cheap alternative to the tune and can be taken off in less than a minute.
Cheers, Craig

To me the throttle lag is irritating, so having read a lot of reviews plus the comments in here, I decided to buy the idrive. Worth shopping around though, there are good discounts to be had so no need to fork out $300. I've just paid $208 with free postage on eBay, it is the real thing, brand new, made by EVC, 30 days money back etc. etc. etc. Looking forward to receiving it next week.
