Default Reverse camera options

After the airbag recall I had the dealer activate the reverse camera screen on my mygig. So the question is what aftermarket cameras are you all using on your jk’s

I just bought a cheapy from eBay and mounted it on top of the 3rd brake light so it looks over my trailer.

I then wired to a permanent power source via a switch so I can turn it off and on as needed. My box trailer sits too low and narrow for me to see it unless I'm turning. By having the camera on all the time I'm towing allows me to see
it's still there.

I’m using the Brand Motion product with adjustable mount for aftermarket head unit. https://www.quadratec.com/products/14066_93X2_PG.htm

There is also a winch mount camera option (if your head unit can handle 2 cameras). I’m using the Kenwood DDX918WS Head unit.

For more camera mount options and brands check out www.quadratec.com.

I have a Polaris kit with front and rear cameras. My rear is set up like Nanook's one - same position - mainly to watch the trailer, but it doubles well for backing up. The front one lets me see whats directly in front of the JK for offroad work, its mounted inside the hoop of the bullbar.
I have the power for the system on a separate switrch as my sparky pointed out that even when you turn the Polaris screen off, it doesn't power the cameras down....and he's seen cameras burn out from being powered constantly.
