Falcon shocks, rims and flares
Hi all,
Just about to put the JKU on https://www.sbroffroad.com.au/Suspen...-Falcon-Shocks
I also want to run some 35x12,5R17.
However, I've noticed the falcon shocks with this kit, come with a comment saying must have 4.5bs or less.
I was going to run, AEV pintlers, so theyre out. So no I am looking at the popular 17x9 -6 offset (close enough). However, now I am pushed out a fair old way.
couple of queries from anyone in the know, or running something similar.
(1) with the 17x9 n6 with 35s (12.5), what flares are people running to keep them under.
(2) Anyone who runs the above hit, or has the 3.2/3.3 falcons. What wheel/tyre/flare combo are you running?
Cheers
Jason

Thanks mate, Bills not really on the Tera wagon it seems. Dbor seem to specialise in their own kits.
I've got feelers out to SBR/JKonnection and alike.
I'm really chasing some users opinions and experience.
Cheers

I'll be going through the same thing (eventually)
Initially I tried to order DBOR's flat fenders but they have stopped production apparently.
New plan is order trail mod removable flares from SBR, have just confirmed with them they are 2 inches wider a side, then I'll head to the tyre shop and get them to choose the offset that fits

THE DBOR flares are based on the Xenon Fender Flares which SBR sell. I think DBOR might sell Xenons as well.
DBOR stopped making their own as they were having problems with the moulds. I bought the last set and I think the only reason they made them for me was because I had been waiting around 6 months for them. Then they came unpainted due to them getting rid of their spraypainter.

Reading the SBR website it says 3+ month wait time for the xenons as they are made to order and I'm impatient 😂
The trail mods may not look the greatest, but they are so easy to remove I'll live with it

Im running a similar setup to what your describing.
Falcon 3.3, 315/70r17 on Fuel Trophys which are 17x8.5 -6 offset. I've added uneek4x4's 1 inch spacer to the stock flare and the tyres are still protrude about 1 inch. I also put the falcon HD mounts which sit close to the inside tyre wall.
