2006 140k kilos what to replace
Hi Guys, vehicle as above. What commonly needs to be replaced or let me down off road apart from the obvious maintenance items, shocks and stuff.
Cheers

I sold my 2006 WH Overland at 193,000 kms, nothing much had gone wrong...being the Hemi I had replaced spark plugs, always regular oil and filter changes, serpentine belt, radiator flushes, diff, gearbox & transfer case oil changes, brakes...just basic stuff.
You'll know if anything needs to be replaced anyway...if you haven't changed all the oils and had the gearbox serviced, definitely do all that...

2010 WH GC diesel. 240000 klms. Injectors at 200000.Ks a couple of other
minor things crank case pressure valve. Serpentine belt lasted around 130000 ks
plus put in a new belt tensioner. Also a new turbo hose. Only spares I take are rad hoses, water pump ,and one front wheel bearing hub assembley.
Towed nearly all its life, however oil changed every 5000 k,all other fluids at 30000 ks.Had a DP chip since new ,output around 610 NM ,out performs most
others towing on the road .!

Hey bjm, did the chip change your fuel useage at all. I mean after you stopped blowing the doors off all the jap wagons.
Opps forgot--my recommendation is change the serp belt too. Its a pain in the backside changing it at home ten times that on the side of the road!

Front sway bar bush's
Front diff bush's
Front transfer case CV.
Transfer case fluid - make sure it has oil not ATF in it.
Diff oil - use one with the LSD additive already in it so you don't have to add it.

I bought the vehicle with the DP chip installed had 30000 ks on it!So nearly 200000 ks with the chip.Fuel consumption open road 8-8.5 lph two passengers,
No luggage.Towing a Jayco 17.58 poptop Outback 14- 16 lph .yes it blows most into the weeds ! Serpentine pretty easy to replace.Found the plastic idler pulley bearings wore out quickly.Chinese rubbish!Use the metal pulleys ,press in out
brgs so can fit quality brgs.As Clarky said, sway bar mounts can wear quickly
Front diff mounts are another wear area.Centre one easy to fit, sides are painin the a….s! I change oil at around 6000 ks,auto, diffs, transfer case (.use Mobil 424)
every thirty thousand.

You can get SuperPro poly bushes for the front diff.
Should never have to change them again lol.
