Optima DH7 in a JK
Hey guys, has anyone managed to fit an Optima DH7 in a JK?
I purchased one after checking the Optima website stating the DH6 and DH7 fit, it arrived today and there's no chance i can get in in the battery compartment. Wondering if others have been able to get one in that might be able to provide advice?
I have a 2016 JK 4 door 75th anniversary, my current battery is a Enirgi SA 57020 AGM, which is about 40mm shorter than the Optima DH7
I dont want to open this discussion up about Optima vs Odyssey, just looking for a solution to get this to fit.
Thanks

I haven't used one of those, but I did have the D34 in my '08 3.8L. Currently have the D34M, blue top. That DH7 is ~5cm longer than the D34s.
Later models may have more space there, but that one wouldn't fit in mine.

My 2.8CRD 2007 uses the D31 plus it has the 'shaped' battery tray that it fits.

Thanks for the replies guys, i ended up pulling the fuse box out to try and shoe horn it in and theres definitely no way it can fit. Optima advised me there's a factory option for a larger battery in the 2016 (and possibly other years), these come with a larger battery tray.
I ended up buying a DH6 and that fit fine
If anyone wants a brand new DH7 i now have one for sale in Sydney, shoot me a PM if you're interested.
