What Jeep do I drive?: TJ
Default Jeep model?

I saw a CJ today and was wondering if anyone could tell me what model it is. (just curious)
from a distance the softtop looked like a TJ, but the engine area was shorter than the cabin, the raised 'Jeep'said Jeep, not Joop, round headlights, with the grill bent around (unlike TJ), tailgate opens down, and has Jeep stamped on it, the lower edges of the doors were rounded, like an MB's, soft lower doors.

That's all I can think of, if you want me to be more specific about anything, ask, I'll see what I can remember.

thanks heaps

Check out the SJC site and looks at the CJ History page then I am sure you can work out which one it was

SJC

It sounds like a CJ5 but hard to tell from your description

I'd guess CJ5 or CJ6...but it's a bit hard based on the description given.....

from the pictures, it was a CJ5 'early' but I didn't see the 'later', or CJ6 pics, so I still Don't really know, doesn't really matter anyway, was just curious. If I get desperate, I'll ask the owner when I see it next (it was parked at the Gym across the road)
