Default Lancelin - Australia Day

If anyone is interested...

I am going up to lancelin on australia day with my old man. He just bought an MQ patrol, so we are goign to give that a bash up in the dunes.

Anyhow - if anyone wants to come... you are all more than welcome to.

We will probably go up early in the morning and come back later in the evening.

Cheers
Will

Yeah,

it was aweomse fun!

I have a few pics (my old man got his patrol very stuck.... lucky we had the TJ )

There was this one area that was just a free range place - where you could just drive around aimlessly. That was awesome fun.

We were flying around the small hills and stuff around the place - and then as my old man went over one hill, before he had reached the bottom he was half way up the other one - so the front wheels just bogged right in.... very quick stop!

He tried to get out - but the sand was like talcum powder and he just sunk...

We were going to pull him out forwards - but there was a hill just the other side (a rather big hill) and the sand was way too soft... so we pulled him out in reverse.

These pics dont show the small hills around - but at the front of the MQ there is a hill... and as you can see - behind is a huge drop down.

The sound out there was very soft!

Cheers Guys
Will
