Wasn't sure whether to put this under the Off Topic or the Emergency Help section.
Anyhow, here I am having my next dose of chemo.
On arrival I was told how lucky I was because l was going to be the first to use the band new, state of the art, infusion pump.
So for the entire process up to now, as I am tapping this out as they work, I am surrounded by no less than three nurses and up to ten people constantly, including nurses (of course), product technicians and an array of medical advisors.
All good, I've got lots of company. But I have to listen to things like:
"Well that didnt work, let's try this".
"Let's see what happens if we plug this on here".
"No, you can't use that with this system. Disconect all that and start again".
"I'm never going to get the hang of this stuff".
And so it goes on.
Last time the process took 7 hours. The way things are going with this new "more efficient modern technology, I may not be out until tomorrow!
