That looks a lot better. You need something substantial for a diesel.

Run them all to the PDC stud. You won't even need that.

If you have too many connections for the pdc stud, get a 100AMP ANL fuse and run it from the PDC stud and put another bolt directly to the left of the PDC stud. It'll fit in there perfectly. You'll then have two bolts that you can hook all the connections in the world up to.
thanks Apache what is a PDC stud the internet isn't helping me at the moment

i was thinking of running another fuse box from the batt possibly with a 100a circuit breaker to sit inline.

and then run all my accessories from there.

If you have a look at the engine end of the fuse box next to the battery (XJ diesel) you will see a plastic cover, under it is a stud that is the main connection between the battery/alt/electrics. I have connected a 250 amp lead onto it & it runs a loop to my high beam & driving light relays & then on into the cabin to an anderson plug for an inverter before continuing down the back for a supply for my van.
Your winch probably should come straight off the battery.

I hope you have it fused correctly....

Default What did you do to your XJ today ?

Just picked up those Projecta terminals today, they look great - should have them in next week. I'm also waiting on a spare PDC to run all the fuses inside my existing PDC - apparently the plugs aren't standard so I need a few to use. . Will tidy up my spaghetti of corrugated tubing under the bonnet when I do that too.
