Swapped from a black grill and headlight surrounds to a chrome, surely that will add 5hp?

I had one and plumbed it to not need a transfer pump. work on the theory that the fuel move back and forth. when its back it transfers to the main tank. Acceleration and hills keep the fuel moving to the back tank.

I only had the LRA Rusty as I had gas and I run the pump through the aux. If I didn't have gas and wanted to run two tanks I reckon I would have kept the pump in the LRA aux and made some fittings that join the two tanks together. I had an idea of putting an outlet on the front of the plastic tank and removing the screw in bung on the LRA and joining them that way.

Another trip to the wreckers on Sunday.
Full set of door trims with wood grain tops.
Front and rear seats from a late model XJ.
Assorted plastic bits that will tidy up the interior, overhead console, dash parts etc..
Bumper cap, door handles, heater valve other little bits.
Managed to fit the stoppers on my rear drawers they now slide and stop, not fall out.
Fitted all the seats, scrubbed the door trims and the wood isn't so flash do I'm thinking either new wood grain or maybe carbon fibre film?

Default repairs

Had a no start couple of days ago, cranked over wouldn't fire gauges not working. Got under it and had a look at wiring for CPS appeared OK. Tried it again and it started!!
So yesterday changed out the CPS for a low k one I had and changed O2 sensors as well. started up and ran notably smoother. Decided regrease noisey idler pulleys and to pull the A/C compressor off as well to try and regrease the clutch bearing. Pulled the clutch to find bearing is stuffed (falling apart). got a newish compressor from work that had failed internally and pulled the bearing from it (like new). Fitted it up to my compressor and re installed in car and all good, just got to regas it today.
So jeep is quieter and runs smoother and hopefully claws back some of the fuel economy I had lost. Not bad for a days work and no money spent.

This creek gets crossed regularly so probably why the bearings haven't coped.
On this day the creek was pretty high and I thought I would get out and take a photo of it with the water right up to the sill,(IDIOT) when I got back in she had water through the floors.

Gave my jeep a good service today all the filters and oil as well as fixed a leak from the rear of the transfer case. Was amazing how quiet it was to drive after greasing the front end.

Swapped a torn left rear bumper cap with a not torn one that I had picked up a t the wreckers. Once it was scrubbed and heat gunned back to dark shiney black and bolted on I had to re-hab the right side one to match it.
Also replaced heater control valve.
Now the heater works without having to open the hood and manually turn the hot water on!
BTW, valve is also used on a falcon, bought it from Sparesbox.com.au, cheap, quick delivery and perfect part first time.
