Its a TJ one to replace the space wasting jeep egg behind the XJ bumper ....

Saves me a whole 2.5min ... getting the roobar off ... ...

Fan is TJ too - along with pulley swaps.

Def' needs aircon adj & fan shroud so cost will be the governing factor for me ...... as I dont neeeed to mod it now the stock system is running the way I want it.

I forget whether the steering box is an issue since the pic was over 12mnths ago ....
..... but might be fun for someone who wants to play

Is the fan larger than an Xj unit? I know that the Zg's use a similar set up....

So no electric fans to assist?

You could probably fit the standard "egg" behind the cross member, maybe?

Keep up the good work....

Fitted new cam position sensor (dizzy one) and O2 sensor reset ecu/pcm and straight away could tell a difference in the idle quality. Next on the list Crank angle sensor only had time at lunch for these two.

Thanks 5inch, 3 coil, 2 spacers. 3 leaf and 2 blocks. no slipyoke elim, no double cardon. have less flex than in the little profile picture though. have changed a few things, and need long arm for the longer shocks to work to there full capacity.

Better blades if I remember correctly ... Should be the same as the 4.0l grand. Other stuff can be made to fit anyway.

Better positioning and a decent shroud ... who knows what might happen ....

Probably .... but that would have required careful measuring and meant dragging my lazy butt under the vehicle .. instead of sitting on it out front ...

Took my fan clutch/hub off and used the sander to take a few mm off of the fins on the radiator side (stock has no fins omn the radiator side, this is the heavy duty one). Now it no longer rubs on radiator straps. Also loosened all the mounts for the radiator and pushed ot towards the front of the jeep and tightened them all up again, this gave me another few mm of room. Looks like under full load etc it now has around 8mm of room and wont rub anymore

Also put the electic fan back in, the cooling system is working very well now

Lubed the springs on the aircon compressor clutch, now it doesn't give a huge clunk everythime it engages, its almost silent, I had to check unde the bonnet to make sure it was engaging still

Also ordered the roof top tent. Been a good day.

Cheers
Steve

Well I finally spent some money on mine today, ordered me an adjustable panhard rod to get my front diff centred again from Mr Wooders.
Should be here on Monday.....
Just need to sort out my leak in the transfer case mod that I did, as well as my rear main seal leak and an exhaust leak from a snapped stud in the head, the rear one of course so that means the intake has to come out again......
