Last month I mentioned that the last Tuesday of the month came quickly, but now we’re there again and this Tuesday 25th is the last meeting for the year!.
This Tuesday not only do we have some great things to report from the last month and the month’s coming, we have a special guest speaker in Dale Gilson, CEO of Four Wheel Drive Victoria. Dale is coming to talk to us about all of the exciting things FWDV are doing and the reasons why our membership fees will need to increase slightly next year. A lot of things have been happening and changing at FWDV over the last year and the future looks great for track classifications and support with DSE, Parks Victoria, the Government and corporate sponsorship. Much of this due to the decision to increase staff (including Dale) so that we can participate in our chosen recreational activities and truly continue to live the Jeep lifestyle – unlike other states where tracks have been closed at an astonishing rate. Dale will be talking to us early in the meeting so please don’t miss out.
We started off the last month with a number of trips happening as the tracks opened and there is sure to be some fantastic photos and reports from these trips. You’ll also here about the plans for next year’s MJOC Jeep Muster, the latest and greatest for the 2010 Jambo, as well as plans for the Victorian 4WD show at Wandin in February (which will be our biggest presence ever!)
We also have the MJOC Christmas Party coming up on December 14th at Omaru, which will have a supplied lunch, camping and a twilight trip the night before for those interested...and of course a visit from Santa and this year’s BIG RAFFLE, with literally $1,000’s worth of prizes up for grabs. Make sure you book online for the day, and come and hear all the details on Tuesday night (you can also buy tickets for the raffle from Tuesday night too).
I look forward to seeing you at Four Wheel Drive Victoria HQ in Balwyn North on Tuesday night from 7:00pm for dinner and drinks before hand, or 7:30pm for the meeting.
Brett Dashwood
MJOC President
NOTE: Muster 09 committee are meeting at 6.30pm - so come early if you want to help with the muster 09
Unfortunately (or fortunately for some) I wont be attending tonights meeting. My apologies but I really have some important work to do where time is of the utmost importance. Have a good night. Hope to see you all at the chrissy shindig.
What nice night at the meeting with Dale explaining the situation with the 4 Wheel Drive Assoc and the rise in fees next year. The trip reports and photos made lots for the pink pig too!
There were no tyres on the tracks so I came out unscaved for a change
The muster next year should be a hoot to with lots of volunteers to help out getting it of the ground and running the show, I will that news to the powers to be.
Its good to be back seeing the characters of a great club too!
Hope I win the powder coating raffle so that I can get some yellow steel wheels for DoBEE to.
Who needs a yellow sand flag lol.

Previous post was a bit premature, not enough time for promos printing etc etc etc. The pressure washer will be on display at the crissy party, more details when set in concrete, (jeep muster raffle)maybe, watch the muster thread.
But we cannot use it as we have no water hahahahahahahahh
Hi Lushy
I have two water tanks overflowing everywhere, I can't use mywater fast enough.
A big to the Water nazis,
If you haven't got a tank you can still use a p.w. on town water for commercial purposes.
level four will stop this and kill many industries.
Forget pipelines, more Dams and desal plants, give everybody a big tank and make big industrial water users pay the same as you and I and our problem would disappear
