Who's going?
Was thinking that there are a heap of Jeep boys from Rocky coming down we should catch up with you locals and have a drive one of the days?
Anyone Keen?
Either way if you see my dunger around come say ello...
It's a white tj with O1GSY no plates...
Oh and my old boy will be putting around in a double locked WWII,
should be pretty easy to spot us anyway!
Just thought I'd mention that we can accommodate all sorts of rigs on this trip, i'm not super stressed if we just cruise down easy tracks and chat jeeps or if we hit the Claw for a bit of a skid... whatever is happening I'll be at the mercy of the locals!
At this stage i'll be cruising down for it, should be quite a few more rocky rigs going down aswell.
Meet up with the locals and drive some tracks sounds heaps good, would be good to meet some new jeepers from down there.
I've only got a fairly stocko XJ though so i won't be up for anything overly serious but in low range with plenty of right foot it seems to go alright so we'll see what it can do.
Just a reminder about this...
Who's going?
I'll definately be there... you'll see us in my heep getting round the events.
Also got a few mates racing down there... No jeeps unfortunately...
My jeeps to pretty to race!
Would be good to have 20 jeeps doing cruiser canyon!
My little bro is even trying to get a ZG Grand sorted before then so he can come for a dung with us... since no Piece of Junk Maverick would be allowed!
Yeah another set of 35s. Got some Pro Comp 17 inch alloys for it now so I'm gonna give these pro comp Xtreme MT's a lash I think...
Just wanna be able to drive it a heap more... no fun with it sitting in the shed day in day out.
Who's going down with you XJames?
It sounds like a fair few of the usual rocky suspects are racing and what not.
Swafftec's bumblebee is racing, same with Jason Larkam and Aaron Benson. A few from down here too, Houndy in that turbo deisel patrol ute, and Rossy is his red cruiser. Also a few of the bilo boys as well. Cory Howe is racing and he just recently did really really well in the Coopers Rally!
Should be good. The obvious one missing from the bunch is Russ Mason! Aparently he is sitting it out this year so he can have a quiet year... will be interesting to see what happens on the day!
Anyway will make for some good viewing for us CQ boys as the southerners are always ontop of their game... it's been a while since the win went up north!!!!
