I'm not getting an accurate reading for the fuel guage and decided the first thing I'd change is the sender unit.
Problem is I can find them for '97 onwards but not for '95/'96.
Can anyone point me in the right direction please.

tried
wooders garage, rock auto, hesco?
also is it a 95 or 96? Cause some 96 will use the pump from a 97 onwards, IE some 96 have obdII engine management, rather than the obdI that the 95 and 94 use.
one way to tell is to look for the obd1 scanner port near the computer/pcm front passenger side.

Wooders had earlier ones and '97 on.
I must say I have nothing that looks like the pics there, and it might be because I was told it had a 2002 Wrangler 4.0L in it, and the engine bay is crammed full of crap that my mates '96 Cherokee doesnt have.

That is OBD2....

So then are you saying the '97 onward sender might just work?
On the flipside is it that the engine management isn't compatible with the original sender?

Have fun over here in Tas JJ, lots of fun, but lots of roads have locks on them... Sing out if you want any advice on anything... Don't want to bring that owners manual with you for a '96? Might grab it off you!
