Hi and welcome to our club. I was in Slavonski Brod last year on holidays. And Sibenik! I stayed in a place called Novigrad near Zadar. Scuba dived the whole Adriatic coast from Dubrovnik to Pag. Going back next year and every year after that it was so beautiful!! Loved Krka park! Dobro nam dosao u jeep klub.
Bog

ps- some really good 4x4 tracks through those area too! Except I had a new Peurgot 407 for the trip which sucked.

Thank You all on warm welcome. I just came back from my late holiday and i was in zadar. Adriatic coast is really nice and safe(no sharks and saltwater crocks) but still i cant wait to visit my dream country Down Under.

Welcome Ivan

we've spend our last 5 summer holidays in Croatia (Trogir (http://www.flickr.com/search/show/?q=trogir), Moscenicka Draga (http://www.flickr.com/search/show/?q=moscenicka+draga), Hum (http://www.flickr.com/search/show/?q=HUM+CROATIA), etc and other wonderful medieval city gems) and crawled last year in Trieste Peninsula (http://www.flickr.com/search/show/?q=trieste+peninsula) + Triglav National Park (http://www.tnp.si/national_park/) in Slovenian Alps (7 waterfalls tour (http://www.flickr.com/search/show/?q=triglav+waterfalls)). It was just awsome and this is not just the right word!
Anyway Croatia is since 2005 my second country so to speak and searched arround almost any corner region/region you've seen in those pics posted in the links above.

So
Ivan let me know what you did not/want to see in Croatia and I will let you know how to get there! ;-)))) Who knows maybe next summer!

I believe 2012 will be a mix of Croatia and Muntenegru (Kotor (http://www.flickr.com/search/show/?q=kotor), Tara Canyon (http://www.flickr.com/search/show/?q=tara+canyon),Skadorsko Jezero (http://www.flickr.com/search/show/?q=Skadarsko+jezero), etc.) an possible Albania + Greece. It’s a beautiful corner of the world.

We pass on A3 by your hometown every year when getting from Bucharest via Belgrade down to the Adriatic coast.

Happy wheeling Ivan in such a breathtaking country with great people I ever met! When I cross the border to Croatia suddenly I feel in vacation! And that is not just my opinion! Wonderful infrastructure and peaceful but good and welcoming places all over the country!

Cheers
John

Hi
Well the world is smaller then we imagine. Nice to meet you here. Timisoara is the western gate to my country in all senses.
