Hey guys, Got a 98 XJ Sport update model 4.0L... I went to Repco today for spark plugs and the guy told me he had two different ones in stock... Both were Champion brand, 1 was $5ea and 1 was $9ea... but he couldn't tell me the difference between them. I looked at them both and one looked slightly longer then the other where the lead plugs on...

So I then went to supercheap and they had NGK's there and again they had two types listed but this time one was for:
04/94 - 08/98 JEEP Cherokee 4.0L 6 Cyl.131kW/135kW 312MX23RL
08/97 - 09/01 JEEP Cherokee 4.0L 6 Cyl.131kW 312MX23R1

I'm at a loss as to which plugs I need... Does anyone have the Champion part number of the right ones? Or if I should go the NGK's which ones I should get?

Cheers for any help...

Jaymz the Champion number is under the hood or should be and the NGKs will depend on the month 98 eg 9/98 of manufacture on are the different ones it seems. It wll be in the book.
