I was talking to a member of Qld Jeepers today,owns a brand spanker Overland-drool!
Got me thinking about joining a local club.
Once a month I would like to go for a wheel with some low-stessed people,have lunch/BBQ,some more wheeling before heading home.
A camping trip say every two months for a week-end would be doable also.Some like minded people to talk BS around a roaring campfire and who could help out if someone breaks down etc,hopefully not me.haha,Trip to Fraser/Moreton/Straddie would be good also etc
Is there such a club around my parts like this? I'm not interested in the high speed/low drag crowd and def not interested in the elitist spit and polish mob either.
Does such a club exist? I have been mixed up in a couple of clubs in the dim dark past and realise there is a certain amount of BS infighting that goes with these things.Want to keep that crap to a mininium if at all poss.I'm getting to old and crusty to put up with that sort of stuff again.
