Air shocks

Not entirely Jeep related, but couldn't wait to share my new purchase.:D A pair of Profender air shocks bought through Suspension Stuff from Superior Engineering. They will be going on the front of my 93 Pathfinder and attached to the Dana 44. (Pathy will eventually a Tuff Truck type of vehicle, mostly for social wheeling, maybe a few comps.)

how do these shockd differ from regular ones and what benefits do they provide?

Had these on my CJ7 that had 42" Irok meats on it. Anyways these shocks are nitro based, so you dont need coils, just these :)

Not for onroad either, I believe. Jimmy, what's your opinion on the 44, as to what size tyre they will handle? I'm wanting to run Maxxis treps in 37 inch. Maybe 40's one day, but not in the near future.
