Gday guys!

My first real post,

My names Ben. I'm 20, and live in Victoria.
I've got myself a 2005 GoldenEagle Edition Jeep TJ (its the love of my life!)
I've had it for about 2 years now, and i'm gradually trying to modify it to become its inner beast.
At the moment, because i am just a poor uni student, I've only got 31 a/t's all round, and a 2 1/2 inch cat back exhaust just to give it a nice little note.
I've now got a fairly good job around uni, with a little more money coming in and i'm wanting to go the next step for my jeepy.
I want to lift it. Now this is where you guys come in! haha
I'll be the first to admit, that I know very little of how much is involved with lifting it. I do know that I want it lifted around 2 1/2 inches. I want it done properly though, so not to affect the jeep in a negative way.
How do I go about this guys?!
Any help will be muchly appreciated!

See you on the trails and a wave on the roads ;)
Cheers ben!

Springs and shocks is all you need for a mild lift like that. Have a look at the vendors section, I'm sure some of them are in Victoria. Get an idea of price off them , save up , pay and you are sorted. Good luck with it !!! (If you cannot wait, get your dad to sponsor the lift and pay him back later :-)

You'd probably want to consider a little more than just springs and shocks, particularly if you want to do it properly. Given that you're in Victoria, give DBOR a buzz (vendor on this forum). They specialise in JKs, but will no doubt be able to offer you some sound advice.

OME 2" lift is very good and about $1000 from memory from arb, I am running it with a highline and 33s. Other options are murchison products which is a specialist jeep company in queensland who make their own suspension or DBOR in melbourne who should be able to get something good. A 2" lift is pretty simple though and as above youll just need springs and shocks and you should be able to do it yourself.
